Jane Austen and Peeps

Jane Austen and peeps??? Well, ladies and gents - today I was shown that the two could go together. The Washington Post is having a peeps diorama contest. (Yes, please take a moment to bask in how awesome that is on its own... okay, now read on, it gets better).

A group of colleagues and I went over to check it out. You get to vote on your favorite diorama, and let me tell you, it isn't easy. There were over 30 there, and they were all REALLY clever. However, I'll give you one guess on which one I voted for...


That's right, someone out there made this fabulous rendition of Pride and Prejudice and Zombies - OUT OF PEEPS.
I don't know if it can get much better than that.
